*POLICY on personalized maps*: Please kindly be prepared to purchase your map within 30 days of completion -- maps left in the shop for longer than 60 days may be removed without notice, unless prior arrangements are made with me. At least one hour or more of time goes into personalizing each individual map, uploading the files, preparing proofread files and sending emails. I have tried to keep the personalization fee as affordable for people as possible and do not require an advance deposit at this time -- this policy map be suject to change.

**My maps are intended to show the general locations of orphanages that participate in international adoptions. They are hand-rendered, and although every effort has been made to ensure their accuracy, they cannot be considered to be perfectly to scale, and many elements have been estimated. As with any project of this magnitude, it is always possible that there may be errors or omissions. The other cities/towns shown on the maps are those of my choosing; selected either because of high populations, or because of their relative locations to the orphanages, or for other reasons, such as requests from adoptive families.
These maps are 'living documents' that will evolve over time as more information is gathered and as more orphanages participate in international adoptions, new versions of the maps will be made available. I also continue to work on all the remaining province maps, so they will be added, one by one, as they are completed.
Also note I am not in any way affiliated with any orphanage.

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS:

A very generous portion of proceeds from the sale of my maps and all of the other products from my affiliate stores are donated (in goods/services/cash) to a variety of charitable organizations (see the Links/Resources page). Additionally, in some cases, specific dollar amounts will be donated from different maps to different charities (which I will post for you to see). Some of these wonderful charities are listed in the 'Links' section.

PRIVACY POLICY:

All personal information, including names, email addresses, information for personalized products, etc. is kept private & confidential and will NEVER be shared with anyone, ever. You will NOT ever receive spam or email solicitations of any kind from me.
- Cafepress and Imagekind do NOT provide me with any of your personal information when you place an order online. If you wish for me to be able to contact you, you will need to first contact me with your information.
- Personalized maps are placed in a private online shop that is not indexed/searchable by search engines, for your privacy.

NEWSLETTERS/ADVERTISING:

If you ever wish to receive a newsletter with product information or updates, you will need to specifically subscribe to it on my Cafepress Red Thread Maps storefront, otherwise you will not receive any. Cafepress does not provide me with your email address or other information.
